Data Center Standards Architect

📋 Description

• Define and own data center engineering standards for high-density GPU infra.
• Create reference architectures, design patterns, technical specs, and deployment standards.
• Develop the data center operating system: standards, reviews, handoffs.
• Establish standards across power, cooling, cabling, telemetry, and security.
• Lead cross-functional reviews for new data center designs and expansions.
• Mentor engineers to raise systems thinking and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as staff/principal/director-level leader in data center or cloud infra.
• Experience designing or scaling standards, processes, tools, or governance.
• Strong systems-thinking; turn ambiguity into repeatable solutions.
• Deep familiarity with data center infrastructure: power, cooling, racks, cabling, lifecycle.
• Balance engineering excellence with delivery velocity, cost, risk, and reliability.
• Ability to influence across org without direct authority.
