Data Center Technician

📋 Description

• Maintain daily ops of the data center; install, test, and repair telecom gear.
• Install cabinets, cross-connects, patch panels, and cabling per standards.
• Troubleshoot copper and fiber media; diagnose loss, attenuation, and termination issues.
• Monitor security, environmental, and power/cooling systems.
• Lead troubleshooting during events; provide remediation recommendations.
• Provide remote hands support and manage provisioning docs.

🎯 Requirements

• BICSI Technician credential preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in similar critical facilities.
• High School Diploma.
• Fiber optic splicing experience a plus.
• Inside Plant cabling and labeling per telecom standards.
• Visio and MS Office knowledge; analytical troubleshooting.
