Data Center Technician I

📋 Description

• Maintain infrastructure: rack equipment, replace hard drives and components
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment, manage inventory of spare parts
• Set up, test, and activate new equipment via Linux command line
• Handle shipping/receiving and maintain clean work environment
• Execute infrastructure projects like server installs and migrations
• Respond to incidents and Jira tickets, participate in on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in data center or server infrastructure roles
• Hands-on knowledge of server hardware and deployments
• Proficient with structured cabling, fiber optics, and patch panels
• Experience with Linux and basic scripting
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
