Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Implement and maintain data contract specs for ownership, schema, and quality.
• Build automated AI-readiness scoring pipelines and data-quality signals.
• Support data governance: tagging, lineage automation, and policy guardrails; monitor AI usage.
• Develop AI-trust features: provenance, accuracy checks, and guardrails.
• Create semantic layer with descriptions and context for data assets.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development and improve code quality.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in software/data engineering or backend development.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of Databricks.
• Medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold) familiarity.
• Experience building semantic layers with governed metrics.
• Metadata standards, data ownership, schema enforcement knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
