Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions on Cognite Data Fusion.
• Drive data integrations, modeling, and analysis with Cognite connectors, SQL, Python/Java, REST API.
• Create custom data models for data discovery, mapping, and cleansing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, PMs, and architects on deliveries to maximize dataOps value.
• Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for high-quality, maintainable code.
• Contribute to Cognite tools and SDKs and support customers with Cognite products.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or similar; experience can compensate.
• Minimum 4+ years in a customer-facing data-intensive role.
• Production-grade data pipelines using Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud services like GCP and/or Azure.
• Domain knowledge in data sources within oil and gas and manufacturing is a plus.
• DevOps mindset with Git, CI/CD, deployment environments.
