Data Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and ML engineers on pipelines and ETL.
• Establish data architecture processes, automate and standardize for other teams.
• Inform data team strategy by working with product leaders and managers.
• Lead execution and planning of organizational data team strategy.
• Collaborate with Data Leadership to align and enable success across the Data Organization.
• Manage and mentor Data Engineers to grow talent at Doximity.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; built maintainable data pipelines.
• Experience creating automated tests and applying design patterns.
• People manager with 3+ direct reports and growth focus.
• Excellent communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Player-coach: contribute individually when needed.
• Led end-to-end data projects; ML/AI aware.
