Data Operations Specialist

📋 Description

• Collect field data for ML models (plate-metering, sensors, imagery).
• Operate collection gear safely; keep gear calibrated and ready.
• Follow sampling plans; ensure representative datasets across time/location.
• Capture metadata (location, timestamp, conditions) for traceability.
• Apply field QC; flag issues and escalate to Data Ops Lead.
• Build farmer relationships and coordinate with ML engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Outdoor, hands-on data collection in variable field conditions.
• Follow protocols precisely; flag edge cases and anomalies.
• Reliable, self-managing; plan across sites and keep records.
• Full driver’s licence; willing to travel to farms.
• Experience in field data collection (agriculture or similar).
• Comfortable with GPS/GNSS, drones, sensors and data capture.
