Data Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop Terraform modules for Snowflake account mgmt (roles, warehouses, DBs)
• Implement RBAC, governance tags, and masking in Snowflake via IaC
• Build CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake changes with GitHub Actions
• Manage Snowflake security: networks, service accounts, identity providers
• Optimize Snowflake resource use, performance, and cost
• Collaborate with engineering to enforce governance and data classification
• Build monitoring/alerts for drift and compliance
• Contribute to data lake architecture, open table format (Iceberg)

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data engineering or data platform roles
• Snowflake admin: RBAC, warehouses, masking, governance tags, network policies
• Production Terraform experience with modules, state, import
• Terragrunt for multi-environment infra management
• Python proficiency
• Strong data governance, security, and compliance practices
• Active use of AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) for productivity
