Data Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Keep the data platform healthy: monitor pipelines and troubleshoot failures.
• Make infra changes safely: deploy via Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
• Improve automation: Python, Bash, and CI/CD automation.
• Contribute to data pipelines and governance: RBAC and least-privilege controls.
• Migrate workloads to modern data platform: validation and cutover.
• Document how things work: runbooks and platform docs.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in data engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Cloud/DevOps: AWS or other cloud; IAM, networking, compute; CI/CD & Git workflows.
• Python automation: Proficiency in Python for automation and tooling.
• SQL competency: Working knowledge; advanced SQL is a plus.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or similar; code reviews and safe deployment.
• Kubernetes and containers: deployments, pods, logs; EKS valuable.
