Data Platform Engineer - AI Platform

📋 Description

• Own performance tuning for StarRocks-backed serving layer; profile queries and resolve bottlenecks
• Build, maintain, and harden pipelines for government cloud investigations; ensure dependability
• Operate serving layer to improve incident response coverage and recovery times.
• Lead production troubleshooting using logs, monitoring, AI-assisted debugging, and root-cause
• Support compliance and security; implement backup, retention, audit, and data-management needs.
• Own infrastructure improvements end-to-end from design to operation; collaborate across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to government cloud data-access requirements.
• Distributed systems experience with OLAP/analytical databases or serving-layer tech (StarRocks
• Performance engineering: query tuning and production workload optimization at scale.
• Data platform reliability: ownership of data pipelines and production infra.
• Production ownership: on-call readiness and autonomous investigation of unfamiliar systems.
• AI fluency: experience with AI tools to accelerate debugging, research, and documentation.
