Data Protection Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a privacy team; set priorities and review deliverables.
• Drive the privacy framework, policies, and governance program.
• Maintain RoPA, DPIAs, and privacy risk registers; ensure GDPR compliance.
• Oversee DPA templates and DSR processes; manage breach response.
• Promote privacy-by-design across product lifecycles; train staff.
• Coordinate audits, vendor risk, and internal compliance initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Law (privacy focus) or related field.
• 5+ years in data privacy or information security compliance.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small privacy team.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and CCPA; familiarity with another framework.
• Hands-on with DPIAs and DSR processes; privacy programs.
• Familiarity with privacy management platforms and data governance tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; translate regulations.
• CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT certifications a plus.
