Data Protection Manager

📋 Description

• Lead a small privacy team; set priorities and review deliverables.
• Implement and improve the data privacy framework, policies, and governance.
• Maintain RoPA, privacy risk registers, and DPIAs.
• Ensure GDPR compliance; monitor regulatory developments; propose improvements.
• Develop and manage DPA templates; oversee implementation.
• Oversee DSR processes and coordinate responses.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Law (privacy), Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data privacy, information security compliance, or similar.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small team.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, plus another privacy framework.
• Understanding AML/KYC in regulated industries.
• Hands-on privacy programs; DPIAs; DSR management.
• Familiarity with privacy management platforms and data governance tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; translate regs to solutions.
• Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT are advantageous.
