Data Science Manager - Merchants Team

📋 Description

• Lead analytical direction for Merchants area and 4-7 data scientists.
• Grow and shape a high-performing DS team in a fast-moving environment.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Strategy, Operations and Commercial.
• Own problems from framing to measurable product/operational impact.
• Work across merchant acquisition, onboarding, supply models, and retention.
• Hands-on management with technical involvement and coaching.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience line managing data scientists and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong background as a senior data science individual contributor.
• Expertise in experimentation, causal inference or applied machine learning.
• Ability to guide technical work and translate data science into product/operational decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence with senior leaders.
• Experience with merchants, marketplaces, restaurants, grocery or B2B products is valuable.
