Data Scientist (Fraud)

📋 Description

• Prototype, evaluate, and deploy fraud ML models; own monitoring and retraining
• Design experiments to measure interventions; balance customer experience and loss
• Build and maintain anomaly detection to surface novel fraud vectors
• Identify fraud signals across our ecosystem; translate into production-ready features
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and analysts to operationalize model outputs
• What success looks like: models surface novel fraud vectors before they scale

🎯 Requirements

• A strong foundation in statistics with a degree in a quantitative field
• 3+ years of experience in data science, decision science, or risk analytics in fraud
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in production
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; full model development lifecycle
• Fraud, risk, or financial services experience is a strong plus
• Investigative instinct and ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
