Data Scientist (Fraud)

📋 Description

• Prototype, evaluate, and deploy fraud ML models; own monitoring and retraining.
• Design experiments to measure fraud interventions, balancing UX vs loss.
• Identify fraud typologies to inform priorities and investments.
• Build and maintain anomaly detection to surface novel fraud vectors.
• Collaborate with fraud ops, engineers, PMs, and analysts to mitigate risk.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in statistics/math/engineering/computer science or similar.
• 3+ years in data science or risk analytics in fraud or payments.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models in production.
• Fraud/risk/financial services experience is a plus.
• Fundamentals: experimentation, inference, evaluation, feature engineering.
• Comfort in fast-paced, cross-functional teams with ownership.
