Data Scientist II, Monetization & Pricing

📋 Description

• Propose and conduct quantitative research on user behavior and trends.
• Design and analyze experiments for causal inference with cross-functional teams.
• Scope new features with product managers; model impact on metrics.
• Define and monitor key metrics; investigate changes and next steps.
• Develop topic area expertise, e.g., Thumbtack search understanding.
• Collaborate with, mentor, and help recruit team members.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics or economics
• Experience managing stakeholders across PM, Design, Eng, Marketing
• Experience scoping, analyzing, and communicating results of experiments
• Expert in SQL
• Strong cross-functional communication with leadership
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, Math, CS, OR, Economics
