Database Administrator

📋 Description

• Work with the company’s global database platform daily operations - from initial setup to tools
• Work with high-volume databases in a complex environment with many moving parts
• Plan and execute all aspects of database administration to achieve maximum stability and
• Install and upgrade databases and high-availability solutions for databases
• Develop automation, monitoring and other tooling
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support database-related production incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with MySQL database administration
• Good understanding of general IT concepts, especially networks and Linux/Unix operating systems
• Collaborative team player open to new ideas and modern approaches
• Enjoy solving technical problems and handle moderately complex challenges
• Proactive — notice when something isn't working as expected and help get it resolved
• Motivated to grow technical expertise and continuously expand knowledge
