📋 Description

Backup and recovery processes and tools
Manage database design (logical/physical) and performance tuning
Data loading/unloading, updating, restoring and purging data
DB maintenance: adhoc reorgs, runstats, and scheduled tasks
Monitor backups, space usage, logs, and troubleshoot failures with Operations
Support on-call/off-hours and work in a multi-client environment

🎯 Requirements

Cobol programming knowledge
z/os DB2 and IMS platforms
Performance troubleshooting and query tuning
Omegamon, Tmon, BMC Suite, CA DB2 Toolset
Data loading/unloading, restoring data
