Database Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Work in a DBRE/DevOps team to own DB infra across platforms
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available DB architectures across regions
• Improve DB infra: tuning, capacity planning, backup/recovery, DR
• Develop automation tools in Go/Python to streamline DB ops
• Monitor DB health and metrics; alert on SLO burn rates; detect issues
• Take ownership of DB ops including schema changes, migrations, deployments

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years managing advanced MySQL and MongoDB problems
• Proven experience managing large-scale production database systems
• Deep understanding of DB architecture, performance, HA, and security
• Keeps up with DB tech trends and builds reliable, scalable data infra
• Strong automation mindset; builds tools to improve DB ops
• Understand SLI/SLO/SLA concepts and reliability practices
