Database Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Ownership of health, uptime and performance of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
• Partner with internal customers to understand challenges and plan improvements
• Develop automation for routine tasks using Python or bash
• Engineer, deploy, maintain, and own database monitoring
• Provide backup/restore solutions and disaster recovery testing
• Identify abusive queries to improve efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or 5+ years DB reliability/DevOps experience in lieu of
• 5+ years optimizing SQL queries and data replication
• 5+ years developing monitoring tools and tuning databases
