Database Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate, implement, test, and manage technology solutions across complex enterprises.
• Develop and execute architecture strategies, feasibility studies, and integration analyses.
• Gather and define architecture requirements while aligning with IT standards.
• Analyze application architectures, perform risk assessments, and set up testing.
• Support database development, software integration, and testing between apps.
• Develop Python scripts, websites, and automation to support engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of IT experience.
• Proven experience in software engineering, integration, architecture analysis, and testing.
• Strong experience with Oracle or SQL Server in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Python, Java, or J2EE applications.
• Knowledge of network protocols and system architecture.
• Experience designing tests, integration testing, and risk-based testing.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, VA environments, or government projects preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Millennium, VA networks, HP/QC, or Rational ClearQuest a plus.
• Knowledge of AI tools for software development and data analysis is advantageous.
• Ability to obtain government security clearance for access to classified information.
