Dataiku Developer – Data Analytics & Reporting

📋 Description

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Dataiku DSS to ingest, transform and expose data from PostgreSQL, Teradata and flat files into the enterprise data warehouse or lake.
• Implement data warehousing concepts such as dimensional modeling, slowly changing dimensions, star/snowflake schemas and data vaults to support analytics and BI.
• Develop reusable Python code (Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy) within Dataiku plugins, recipes and notebooks for data cleansing and advanced analytics.
• Ensure data quality and governance by defining validation rules, unit tests and automated data quality checks inside Dataiku.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) for Dataiku projects and monitor pipeline performance and cloud resource usage.

🎯 Requirements

• 7-8 years of hands-on experience with Dataiku DSS and data warehousing.
• Strong SQL programming in PostgreSQL or Teradata; data modeling and performance tuning.
• Proficient Python programming (OOP, Pandas, PySpark) and Dataiku plugin development.
• Experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools and version control; knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and cloud storage (COS).
• Knowledge of Parquet/ORC and columnar storage formats; familiarity with data governance and Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams; nice-to-have Apache Airflow, Tableau, Kafka.
