DB2 System Admin

📋 Description

• Maintain DB2 software and associated environments on IBM z/OS mainframe platforms in accordance
• Keep software on vendor-supported versions and apply required security patches within established
• Maintain required security, configuration, operational, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain software exits associated with supported software, regardless of the programming language
• Provide technical services and guidance regarding DB2 software, including questions, issues
• Report customer questions and related technical matters to the appropriate Contracting Officer’s

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in database administration, mainframe systems, or a
• Associate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or a related discipline.
• Hands-on knowledge of DB2 environments and IBM mainframe platforms running z/OS.
• Experience with DB2 software installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and migration
• Working knowledge of SMP/E for installing and maintaining software on IBM mainframe systems.
• Understanding of security and compliance requirements applicable to enterprise or government
