Dean of Student Support (Special Education)

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation and management of KNOS Special Education Program, policies, and procedures
• Work collaboratively with all Student Support Teammates (Social Workers, Psychologists, MTSS
• Execute consistent and effective coaching cycles with specialized programs coaching focus
• Develop continuum-aligned and targeted schedules for self, SPED teachers, and related service
• Manage a multidisciplinary team to generate IEP-aligned outcomes for students
• Navigate SPED-specific and KNOS data platforms (SER, Tableau, Powerschool)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years teaching experience in urban, open enrollment schools with demonstrated student results
• Commitment to KIPP New Orleans mission, vision, and 5 core beliefs
• Successful completion of reference check, identity/work authorization (I-9), state background
• Preferred: Master’s in Education or aligned content
• Preferred: 3+ years teaching with at least 2 years leadership experience
