📋 Description

• Research on-chain market structure by analysing liquidity, price formation, participant behaviour
• Study how protocol mechanics, transaction ordering, gas, slippage, latency and MEV affect execution
• Formulate trading hypotheses and evaluate them using blockchain data, market data, backtests and
• Build reusable Python tools and data pipelines for research, monitoring and performance analysis.
• Analyse relationships between centralized and decentralized markets and identify their implications
• Support live strategies through monitoring, post-trade analysis and investigation of unexpected

🎯 Requirements

• Quantitative and coding foundations: pursuing or recently completed degree in mathematics, computer
• Practical blockchain understanding: understanding of transactions, state changes, gas, blocks
• DeFi market knowledge: understanding of AMMs, concentrated liquidity, swaps, liquidity provision
• MEV awareness: understanding of transaction ordering, block construction, arbitrage, liquidation
• Hands-on curiosity: used DeFi beyond coursework; ideally built or analysed something like on-chain
• Trading judgement: ability to question edge against fees, gas, latency, slippage, adverse selection
