Defined Benefit - Technical Services Manager

📋 Description

• Translate defined benefit pension rules into system and calculation specifications
• Support changes to integrated calculation systems, apps and services
• Explain calculation logic to developers and technical partners
• Review outputs and testing results for accuracy
• Apply actuarial judgement to complex pensions and testing
• Collaborate with Institutional Retirement, Group IT and operations teams

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified actuary or strong actuarial systems/development experience
• Strong knowledge of defined benefit pensions, benefits and calculation rules
• Experience turning pension scheme requirements into technical specifications
• Comfort with complex integrated systems including calculation engines, databases and web apps
• Strong analytical judgement and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
