Deployed Engineer (Houston)

📋 Description

• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer teams
• Own the technical win in pre-sales via POCs and evaluations
• Help deploy and operate agent-based apps (conversational, research, multi-step)
• Advise post-sale on architecture and best practices
• Run demos, trainings, and workshops for developers
• Travel to customers up to 40% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in a relevant technical role (startup/scale-up preferred)
• Strong Python and JavaScript, solid systems fundamentals
• Designed agent-based or LLM-powered apps beyond simple APIs
• Experience working directly with customers (POCs and reviews)
• Ability to explain tradeoffs clearly and build trust
• Bias toward action, ownership of outcomes, production focus
