Deputy General Counsel, Institutions

📋 Description

• Act as key legal advisor for institutional business, trading & P2P platforms; ensure compliance.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory issues for institutional clients, incl. contracts and crypto products.
• Analyze risk of digital assets for institutional clients and our P2P platform.
• Collaborate with product/business teams to align new products with regulatory requirements.
• Develop policies for institutional and P2P ops to adapt to the digital assets landscape.
• Address additional matters as advised by legal team leaders.

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold a law degree and be eligible to practice as an advocate.
• Senior lawyer with 7+ years experience at law firm, digital assets firm, or top-tier financial institution.
• Proven track record at a top-tier firm or in-house role with institutional trading and digital assets experience.
• Experience drafting lending/credit, account control, custody, or delayed settlement agreements.
• Experience drafting playbooks and fallback guides.
• Independent, fast-paced, multicultural work style; well-organized.
