Design Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Apply sound engineering judgment to Autodesk Inventor models for transmission/substation structures.
• Develop solutions to improve design consistency, efficiency, and usability.
• Translate calculations, standards, customer needs into model parameters and rules.
• Promote model-based engineering to reduce repetitive work and variation.
• Ensure models meet customer, industry, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Detailing, Operations, Manufacturing, ERP/MES, Data, and software

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and automation tools (iLogic, iProperties).
• Ability to create configurable assemblies, templates, and parameter-driven tools.
• Knowledge of design standards, metadata, and downstream data usage.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across multiple teams.
• Experience in manufacturing or structural design environments is plus.
