Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Build production-quality UI components in React Native.
• Prototype ideas with product designers and iterate before handoff.
• Own and maintain design system and ensure consistency across the app.
• Bridge design and engineering; discuss feasibility and propose solutions.
• Improve UI performance, animations, and micro-interactions across platforms.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions affecting UI flexibility and theming.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years frontend/UI engineering with strong React Native experience.
• Strong eye for typography, spacing, motion, and interaction detail.
• Comfortable prototyping in Figma or similar tools.
• Experience building and maintaining component/design systems.
• Track record of shipping polished, consumer-facing mobile products.
• Strong communication across design and engineering teams; able to translate between them.
