Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain a scalable design system in Figma and code (React, Tailwind)
• Prototype and ship production-ready UI with polished typography, color, motion
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering from concept to implementation
• Maintain consistency across Mac, Windows, and iOS
• Identify and fix gaps between design and engineering, raising quality
• Help invent new interaction patterns for AI-driven tools

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as Design Engineer, frontend engineer with strong design skills, or designer with strong engineering skills
• Highly proficient with React, TypeScript, Tailwind and solid frontend architecture
• Strong visual and interaction design; care about polish and details
• Natural prototyper comfortable exploring in Figma, code, or AI tools
• Experience with design systems and component libraries, balancing consistency with flexibility
