Design Engineer I

📋 Description

• Design, review and entitle solar PV projects (3MW-300MW AC)
• Support 15-25 projects concurrently with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with design, civil, and project developers
• Produce site permit plan sets and 50% drawings for permitting
• Follow New Leaf Energy Design Standards; train others
• Contribute to infrastructure design with fresh perspectives

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree required
• 1-3 years experience preferred
• Completion of at least 40 NABCEP credits preferred
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, PV Case, and PVSyst
