Design Engineer I

📋 Description

• Collaborate with design team to evaluate site feasibility.
• Design site use permit plans and 50% drawings for permitting/IPP bidding.
• Design projects per New Leaf Energy Design Standards.
• Complete reviews through milestone drawing releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and training materials.
• Assist permitting/bidding administration and AHJ questions.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree required.
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
• Completion of at least 40 NABCEP credits preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Solid written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, PV Case, PVSyst.
