Design Engineer I

📋 Description

• Design, review, and entitle solar PV designs (3MW-300MW AC)
• Support 15-25 projects with cross-functional teams
• Create site use permit sets and 50% bid drawings for permitting
• Train staff on New Leaf Energy design standards
• Assist permitting, bidding, and AHJ questions as needed
• Contribute to infrastructure design and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree required
• 1-3 years' experience preferred
• 40 NABCEP credits preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, PV Case, PVSyst
• Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
