Design Manager

📋 Description

• Produce and manage engineering deliverables associated with Secondary Steelwork (SSW) design
• Coordinate and maintain design input data, technical reports, design calculations, drawings, and
• Lead the planning, scheduling, and delivery of engineering activities, identifying risks to
• Manage technical interfaces with internal disciplines, suppliers, and wider project stakeholders.
• Support design change management activities including open points, requests for information, field
• Present technical information to stakeholders and support the successful implementation of project

🎯 Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience designing structural steelwork systems in accordance with recognised industry standards
• Proven track record operating within complex self-delivery engineering environments.
• Ability to make independent engineering decisions supported by sound technical and operational
• Experience planning, managing, and delivering engineering activities to programme requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex engineering topics
