Design Operations Manager

📋 Description

• Coordinate and land a blank slate product re-design of Abridge
• Partner with design leadership to implement programs and tools for team effectiveness
• Lead operational planning for initiatives: rituals, onboarding, resourcing, and comms
• Build scalable systems to support growth and cross-functional collaboration
• Oversee design assets: libraries, templates, and version control
• Manage external vendors/contractors: onboarding, scoping, and performance

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in design operations within high-growth technology environments.
• Track record of building and scaling 0-to-1 operational systems across teams.
• Strong process orientation: know when to apply vs. loosen processes.
• Deep familiarity with design and product development lifecycle.
• Experience managing shared design tools, assets, and libraries.
• Vendor/contractor management experience enabling collaboration.
