Developer Experience Engineer

📋 Description

• Hiive builds internal tools, templates, scripts, and workflows to reduce friction across
• Lead practical AI adoption across Engineering by evaluating tools, designing usage patterns, and
• Partner with product engineers to discover bottlenecks, prioritize improvements, and measure
• Create and maintain golden paths for common engineering workflows, including new services
• Improve documentation, onboarding, and self-service support for engineers.
• Design automation to remove repetitive work and simplify operations of engineering systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building internal developer tools, platform tooling, CI/CD workflows, or comparable
• Strong software engineering ability in at least one modern programming language with range across
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools, workflow automation, or applying AI to
• Ability to turn ambiguous developer pain points into clear problems, experiments, and shipped
• Experience with Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and production
• Clear written communication for internal technical audiences.
