Developer Experience - Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and scale a team of platform engineers as a player-coach, hiring, mentoring, and growing
• Own the Delivery Platform end-to-end, including CI/CD as a product with strict SLOs, progressive
• Build and operate the AI-Assisted Developer Platform, including agent harnesses, sandboxed
• Drive enablement by partnering with Security, Compliance, and Core Engineering to ensure the safest
• Track and optimize DORA metrics and AI-specific telemetry, using evidence to drive roadmap decisions
• Set and implement Ebury's AI engineering stance with clear guidelines and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience building or operating an Internal Developer Platform (Backstage or similar) at
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams or serving as a Tech Lead with formal hiring
• Deep expertise in AWS/GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, GitHub Actions, Python, and Linux
• Strong hands-on background in backend software development, enabling design and build of custom
• Daily user of coding agents, with hands-on experience bringing AI tooling from proof-of-concept
• Engineering rigor with trunk-based development, small batch sizes, version control hygiene
