Development Test Engineer (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute static/dynamic environmental tests on satellite systems.
• Own test articles, fixtures, boundary conditions, and CONOPS.
• Lead bring-up and commissioning of test assets (TVAC chambers, shakers).
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, thermal, launch, and integration teams.
• Automate testing operations to increase capacity, throughput, and safety.
• Own end-to-end test campaigns, test plans, and data review.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• 1+ years environmental testing experience for aerospace hardware.
• Experience with NX for mechanical design and fixtures.
• Hands-on testing with TVAC chambers and vibration equipment.
• Experience with data acquisition (DAQ) and control systems.
• FEA and welded structures design/analysis.
