DFM Engineer - Injection Molding

📋 Description

• Analyze 3D CAD part designs for Injection Molding and tooling.
• Review DFM reports and challenge manufacturers' technical solutions.
• Communicate with external customers via video calls to explain DFM reports and gather feedback.
• Optimize 3D CAD designs to improve design feasibility.
• Participate in meetings to fix quality claims for Injection Molding and tooling.
• Attend pre-sales meetings to support technical questions for potential projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Higher engineering education in thermoplastic processing or plastic part design.
• Experience on a production floor with plastic processing or in molding/casting part development.
• Expert in thermoplastic processing and injection molding design; Mold Flow analysis.
• Understanding plastic post-processes: pad-printing, silk-screening, spray painting, chroming.
• Knowledge of Vacuum Casting, Compression/Investment/Sand/MIM molding a plus.
• Strong English communication to present ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
