Diagnostics Serviceability Engineer

📋 Description

• Establish relationships with Manufacturing, Validation, and Product Development teams to drive
• Collaboratively design, develop, and validate on-board and off-board diagnostic test tools for
• Develop standardized technical requirements for controller programming tools and process flow.
• Work closely with the Service Documentation team to develop diagnostic, programming, and repair
• Support wiring system serviceability (bundle routing, connectors, terminals, retention clips, etc)
• Participate in requirements definition as it pertains to service.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle diagnostics.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and/or equipment design experience.
• Experience with vehicle communication networking protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.) and tools.
• Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector end views/pinout.
• Experience designing and developing products through the lifecycle and product and process
