Diesel Technician

📋 Description

• Consult customers and read work orders to evaluate tasks
• Prepare work plans after scoping issues
• Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results
• Inspect suspensions, steering, and exhaust systems
• Repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines, and related parts
• Conduct field visits for emergencies or breakdowns

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of diesel/heavy equipment maintenance experience
• Advanced knowledge of vehicles, electrical systems, and diesel engines; hi-rail/hydraulic knowledge preferred
• Proficiency with diesel engine diagnostic software
• CDL-B required; CDL-A preferred
• Physical requirements: lift 50+ lbs, work at heights 0-20 ft, bending
• Must furnish own tools
