Diesel Technician - CDL

📋 Description

• Consult customer and read work orders to evaluate tasks
• Prepare work plans after scoping issues
• Run diagnostics on diesel engines and interpret results
• Inspect vehicle systems: suspensions, steering, exhaust
• Repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines, and parts
• Conduct field visits for emergencies or breakdowns

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years diesel/heavy equipment maintenance/repair experience
• CDL-B required (CDL-A preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems; Hi-rail/hydraulic knowledge preferred
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operation
• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical power tools
• Proficiency with diesel engine diagnostic software
