Dietary Assistant (Kitchen Aide)

📋 Description

• Assist the Registered Dietitian in providing safe, therapeutic nutrition.
• Maintain storage standards for vendor-prepared food.
• Measure and record food temperatures during delivery and prior to serving.
• Prepare and plate meals per dietary cards and plans.
• Label and date perishable foods in fridges/freezers and for home delivery.
• Record inventory and place orders for replacements as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• CA ServSafe and Food Handler Certification
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service or preparation
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid within 180 days of hire; CPR/First Aid upon hire preferred
