Digital Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Audit the current Segment inventory, consolidate duplicates and naming drift, and establish a
• Build and maintain the tracking plan, keeping it to a navigable size, and deprecating events
• Stand up enforcement so standards are gated
• Configure and manage Segment Protocols for schema validation and violation handling, and manage the
• Advise on our hybrid capture model with product and engineering; determine if events should be
• Partner with marketing, product, and engineering on what gets tracked and what it means, and

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Data Analytics, or similar role
• Experience with Segment or a similar customer data platform. Familiarity with the broader analytics
• A solid grasp of event taxonomy and tracking-plan concepts, including object-action naming
• SQL proficiency and comfort querying data in a cloud data warehouse
• Working knowledge of JSON Schema and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD, and the instinct to treat tracking like code by wiring validation
