Diligence Coordinator (Contract Position)

📋 Description

• Land and title due diligence: Obtain and review title reports, deeds, easements, mortgages, liens
• Ownership and parcel verification: Research ownership structures, chain of title, signatory
• Mapping and property research: Use GIS systems, county mapping resources, and other available
• Diligence reporting and documentation: Prepare clear, structured internal reports summarizing
• Risk identification and resolution: Identify title defects, encumbrances, unclear ownership
• Contracting support: Assist with final diligence checks, working with landowner originations and

🎯 Requirements

• At least six years of experience in real estate, title research, land acquisition, or land-based
• Substantial experience researching ownership and chain of title, reviewing title reports and deeds
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to review complex documentation, identify
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, prioritize competing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to organize
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings, flag risks
