Direct Care Worker

📋 Description

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse; provide personal care and household support.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Household tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making.
• Meal preparation and feeding; range of motion exercises; assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Medication reminders; travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but training will be provided.
• Passion for caregiving, empathy, patience, and respect.
• Commitment to delivering quality, compassionate care; able to travel to clients’ homes.
• Ability to work as part of BAYADA’s team and follow the BAYADA Way.
