Direct Support Professional / Caregiver - Float Staff

📋 Description

• Provide direct care to individuals with IDD in residential homes.
• Work across multiple homes as a float DSP.
• Assist activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Prepare meals, snacks, and may shop for groceries.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry; assist with transportation.
• Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors.

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year DSP/caregiving experience with IDD required.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle to travel between programs.
• Flexible schedule; able to work varied shifts.
• Able to learn medical and behavioral supports.
• 18+ years old; able to attend two weeks paid orientation.
• Must provide references and strong communication skills.
