Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Enrich and support residents while keeping a safe, healthy environment
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating)
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance, including mechanical lifts

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to provide references
• Able to attend two weeks of paid in-house orientation and training
• Have a passion to help others through person-centered care
• People-oriented and have a team approach
