Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Provide direct support and instruction to individuals with I/DD.
• Enrich and support residents in a safe, healthy environment.
• Offer companionship and personalized care to encourage independence.
• Assist with ADLs: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Prepare meals and snacks; perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance, including lifts.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with I/DD preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Two weeks of paid in-house orientation and training.
• Passion for person-centered care.
• Dependable, adaptable, and flexible.
• Good communication; documentation and collaboration skills.
